The Cotswolds Pop-Up Art Show

On a wet and stormy night in November people donned their coats and drove through the rain to a beautiful barn in Guiting Power. Flaming torches and a blazing fire pit welcomed them inside.

On Friday 20th November almost 100 people attended the Private Preview evening for the first Cotswolds Pop Up Art Show in aid of Kate's Home Nursing.

Saturday morning a beautiful day dawned and the doors once again opened to the public. Many many people wandered around the stunning selection of Art. There was plenty to choose from, maybe a piece of sculpture by Nic Fiddian Green or Rupert Till, a painting by Lincoln Seligman or a beautiful ceramic by Robin Walden and so much more....over 40 well known artists had delivered over 100 exhibits. They were all eager to support this event and generously agreed to donate 40% of proceeds to Kate's Home Nursing.

Delicious home made cakes and coffee was served to anyone who wished to linger.

The Art Show raised in the region of £10,000

Both the artists and visitors all agreed it was at truly memorable event......

Debbie's Ironman Challenge

One of our nurses, Deborah Davidson completed the Ironman Challenge in Bolton on 19th July.  This is an incredibly tough course, comprising a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run and Debbie spent endless hours during the preceding months training for the event. It takes true dedication to undertake such a challenge.

Deborah raised over £2,500 for Kate's.    Thank you know what this means for our patient's and their families.
