Taking the plunge for Kate’s Home Nursing!

On Sunday, 13th July, one of our own – the incredible Jill Church, registered nurse and seasoned open-water swimmer – is taking on the Bantham Boomerang: a challenging 5–10km swim along the Avon Estuary in Devon.

The swim, which takes around 90 minutes, follows the tide up the estuary… and back again once it turns. It’s no small feat – but for Jill, who swims almost every day (yes, even in winter!), it’s the perfect way to combine passion with purpose.

Jill said: “I’m really excited about this challenge and wanted to use it to raise money for Kate’s. We need to raise over £600,000 each year to provide our services free of charge – so every penny really does count.”

If you’d like to show your support, you can donate via Jill’s JustGiving page.

A huge thank you to Jill – and best of luck for Sunday. We’re cheering you on every stroke of the way!
