Kate’s Cotswold Rally: A Fun-Filled Day Raises Vital Funds for Hospice Care at Home

Last weekend saw the return of the Kate’s Cotswold Rally, organised by Manfred Schotten Antiques in aid of Kate’s Home Nursing. The event combined exciting challenges, stunning Cotswold scenery, and outstanding food, creating a wonderful atmosphere for all who took part.

The rally began with breakfast at The Feathered Nest, Nether Westcote, followed by a picturesque pit stop at The Old Rectory, Upper Swell, before finishing at The Classic Car Hub, Ablington, where participants enjoyed a gourmet lunch prepared by award-winning chef Matt Weedon.

Participants shared glowing feedback, praising the rally’s friendly atmosphere, exciting challenges, and delicious refreshments.

Speaking after the event, Helen Makaritis, CEO of Kate’s Home Nursing, said:

“On behalf of everyone at Kate’s Home Nursing, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Manfred Schotten Antiques for putting on such a fantastic event in support of our charity. We are also so grateful to the generous venue hosts, our wonderful volunteers who helped serve refreshments, and of course, to everyone who took part. Fundraising events like these are vital for a small charity like ours, helping us to continue providing free hospice care at home for families across the Cotswolds.”

The fundraising total was an amazing £9340, making the day resounding success!
